Mike Davis; when did run over the land mine? I have a pic of a tank from the right side the pic shows the road wheels blown off. Can find any more of the pictures. I was the Driver of A-17 when we got hit in Aug.

It has been over 40 for sure. I remember very well the morning attack that took Sgt.Rivera. I was on the tank behind them.

Do you remember when I was driving and hit a land mine outside of (SP) Bamba Tui? Looking for support of my injuries.

I wanted to ask if you will post this on the cav web site because no matter how I try I can't get on the site.
What I'am looking for is anyone that has any pictures of Otto Draken who was a KIA April 1st 1970 when Firebase Trooper
was over run. Why is because Otto's niece is trying to find pictures of him for her and Otto's sister.
Otto was in C-Troop 1st Platoon. If anyone has any see if they will send them to me .

Oh Yea, Larry, I told Sgt. K about us all getting kicked off our vehicles and walk unarmed through the village to the perimeter in the middle of the heaviest firefight of my tour. I said "you woulda never done that to us huh, Sarge?" He laughed and shook his head "No"! I told K he had no idea how much he was loved by his platoon. We laughed about the fact we never had a lietenant almost the entire time I was there and life was good. We had one for about my last week or so and he wasn't doing so well...a young kid right out of rotc and college...

Hey Larry, I fish for Salmon on the Copper River and Prince William Sound...But I see Sig Hansen and his boat, the Northwestern around Cordova every summer as he hauls fish out of here during his off-season. By the way, I went to Wiesbaden last week and found Sgt. K after 40 years! He looks good, although he suffered a heart attack last year and we almost lost him...He's on a pacemaker now and doing well...I hope to get back for another visit after fishing season in Oct. or Nov.

Hey Liver I know you're a fisherman and I always watch those crab fishing shows out of Dutch Harbor.Are you one of them and if so what boat are you on?
