Anyone know who strafed the HQ compound on Apr 1/70...Airforce or maybe Navy? The Red Flares went up in the center of the perimeter and I had just finished the walk through the village when I saw the two dots, coming from my right (North I think) I started hoofing it with everything I had and the 50 cal. (I think) were hitting all around me as I ran straight down the road to the wire. I would really like to meet those guys! Any ideas or info. out there? Too bad I waited 40 years to ask this question!
