First assignment out of AIT, F Troop, 2nd Platoon. I was a 11D, but we were so short 11E's that I was drafted to crew a Sheridan, driver of "Fox 26" for about a year. SSG Robinson was my Plt. Sgt. CPT. D.B. Johnson was Troop CO. was in the 2/1 from 1975 to Nov. 1979, absolutely the best times of my 24 year career. went on 2 BDE.75 tours with Fox Trp., then went to A Trp. after Fox disbanded. would love to hear from any of the Troopers I served with.
