I served with C troop and HHT in 1969,70. I came to C Troop with Capt. Bergeron and served on his track.
I need information who took "Beau" place after he left as we went and pulled security for the 9ers on some hill probably in August 1970 and took a 50 cal with us. Anybody still in country at that time; D trooper;9er; purple gang, ect. that recalls this trip please drop me a line. Also we were being resupplied on a hill one time; either after April fools day; and had to retrieve water blivets that were pushed out of the birds-- great fun.As everyone came to that location we came under fire. Terry Eubanks returned fire with the 50 and I was ammo bearer or scrounger. There was a brother that I believed got hit in the stomach, if anyone remembers any of these times I would like to chat with you. My cell # is 217-341-7020. I am confined at home as I just had the first of two total knee replacements, so I may be a little slow getting to the phone but I would call back then the call would be on me. Proudly served in the 2/1 Cav.D troop from 71-73.I can still see a few faces and remember a couple names but it has been a long time gone for me. I pray that all is well. Thank you for your service and thank the ones that have followed.

I am proud to have been a member HHT 2/1 Cav. Fort Hood Texas 1966 - 1967

I was in A Troop for 6 mos and D Troop for 6 mos 68 nand 69. APC driver on Hogans Heroes track at Blackhawk Firebase and in the Infantry Platoon in D Troop at Ahnke??? last 6 mos. I was Sgt Penleys RTO and was with him when he was KIA. Would like to hear from anyone who served in those Troops at that time. Also anyone knowing the location of Kenneth Stevens, please let me know.

4/5/2009. Sgt Garrett trained and went to Viet Nam with the troopers from C Troop back in 67-68. Sgt Garrett and his family attended many of the reunions and he will be missed at future reunions.I don't have all the information but if you would like to send cards to the family, their address
