i was with the unit when they deployed from ft,hood was in viet-nam 1967 and 1968,was assigned to headquarters troop in the commo section was rto for sgt whitehead and sgt fields also was at blackhawk firebase. i attended the last reunion,but will not be able to attend the washington d.c, reunion. i have heard that sgt whitehead and sgt fields,have both passed away both were great guys to work with. great site,god bless everyone.
